Just wondering if anyone has included links to knowledge base (KB) entries from
the Open311 API. We have certain problem codes that require more description
about them than can be easily incorporated into a mobile app. I'm wondering if
we could include URLs to online KB entries in case the citizen wants to find
out more information about a particular problem code.
For instance we have a problem code "Graffiti on a City Litter Bin". Its not
easy to distinguish what is and what isn't a City litter bin. It would be
great to link to our online KB which has more info and pictures etc. about
which bins the city looks after. I'm thinking that we could include a link to
our KB as part of our "disclaimer" info for the problem code but not sure if
this is the best way to incorporate this functionality into our Open311 API.
