Hi Folks,
Let's catch up with our monthly call tomorrow.
The main focus of the call will be to provide continued feedback and
updates on the validator: http://validate.open311.org/ and I will plan to
go over it through a screenshare in Google Hangouts. I'll plan to capture
notes and link them from the monthly calls page
<http://wiki.open311.org/Calls/> as well as send them out as a reply to
this thread.
NYC 311 has also begun to release data on their inquiry interactions (calls
for information rather than calls for service) and BetaNYC is helping
solicit feedback
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/17MlyGtZMD4BNEA8UfNF8o_3rvRCOPKVdkONJy6J7oVM/edit>
This could inform a broader standard for the release of this data from
others as well. I'd be happy to discuss this on the call and help capture
any feedback. More details below:
On June 14th, NYC 311 and DoITT launched the 311 Call Center Inquiry
> dataset which contains information on all agent-handled calls to the Cityโs
> 311 information line, including date, time and topic. You can watch a video
> of this event via YouTube
.
The dataset can be found on the open data portal using the following links:
