Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce that NYC has launched our implementation of the Inquiry
v1 API. We've made some last-minute changes to the documentation at
http://wiki.open311.org/Inquiry_v1. We will need to make some improvements to
the documentation both on our web site and the open311 wiki as we move forwards
For example, there are some NYC-specific aspects within the specification which
wouldn't necessarily apply to other cities.
Although registration and developer keys are not required to use this read-only
API, we are asking developers to register with us so that we can maintain
awareness of how folks are using it, and more importantly, share news of
upcoming changes as we evolve and mature. For registration and additional
information, please visit nyc.gov/311 and search for "API".
All the best,
-Andrew
PS - if you happen to be at the reinvent nyc.gov event tomorrow, I will be
there for part of the day to discuss the API and answer questions.
