AFAIK the specs do`'t mention anything related to the lifecycle of the
service infrastructure itself .... So I guess you have the following
options:
- remove yourself from the catlogs or add issues (e.g.
http://wiki.open311.org/GeoReport_v2/Servers/)
- keep the HTTP endpoint online but remove all categories/services ->
no interaction possible
- disable the HTTP endpoint itself -> HTTP 404 for clients
- disable the endpoint and point to a page that explains the takedown
-> HTTP 301 for clients
Personally I would preffer an combination of the first and last point,
as it allows humans and software clients the possibility to understand
what happened :-)
